QR code types and modes

QR codes can have multiple types of destinations. While the most common is to link to a URL, Twilee also offers other types that can help you engage your users more effectively.

Currently, the available types are:

• URL
• Email
• Call
• SMS
• Text
• Wi-Fi
• vCard
• File
• Event

Because of limitations in the QR code technology, some types are available only as static QR codes, others only as dynamic QR codes, and some support both.
