What QR code stands for ?

QR Code stands for Quick Response Code.

It is a two-dimensional barcode developed in 1994 by the Japanese company Denso Wave. Unlike traditional barcodes, which are read in only one direction (horizontally), QR codes can store information both horizontally and vertically.

This structure allows QR codes to hold much more data while still being scanned quickly and accurately by devices such as smartphones, scanners, or cameras.

Because of their speed, versatility, and error-correction capabilities, QR codes have become widely used in marketing, payments, authentication, and information sharing.
