Share a downloadable PDF with users who scan the QR code.
The code stores a short redirect rather than the document, so you can replace the PDF later without reprinting anything. Every printed copy of the code resolves to whichever file is current.
Accepted formats
PDF only (application/pdf). Other formats, including Word documents, images and scans, are rejected when you upload them. Convert to PDF first.
To share an audio file, use the Audio QR code type instead.
Upload limits
The maximum size of a single file depends on your plan, and each plan also has a total storage allowance across all your files.

Text-only documents are usually well under 1 MB. Scanned pages and uncompressed images are what push a PDF into double-digit megabytes, so exporting at a sensible resolution often avoids needing a larger plan.
