Our platform provides users with the ability to generate, manage, and customize QR codes, including dynamic QR codes ("the Service").
While we strive to ensure the accuracy and availability of our Service, we do not guarantee:
- That the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free despite the fact we have redundancy in multiple regions.

- Upload, generate, host, or distribute illegal content, including:
- Pornographic or sexually explicit material

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts in the event of violation of these Terms or suspected unauthorized activity.
8. Pricing and Payment
Subscription Plans: Our Service is offered through subscription plans (Free, Starter, Premium, Business, and Enterprise). Each plan includes specific features and usage limits as described on our Pricing page. The Plan Comparison page is the authoritative source for per-plan limits, including but not limited to the number of QR codes, storage quotas, team members, and available features. All plans remain subject to our Fair Use Policy. By subscribing to a plan, you agree to pay the corresponding fees.
Plan Allowances: Each plan specifies a maximum number of dynamic QR codes. All QR code types count equally toward your plan allowance. Certain QR code types, such as Survey and Photo Gallery, have specific limitations (e.g., number of responses, number of photos) that vary by plan; these limits are detailed on the Plan Comparison page.
Survey QR Codes (Beta): The Survey QR code type is currently in beta. Survey QR codes are more resource-intensive than other QR code types. To account for this, virtual storage consumption is calculated based on survey usage. The current calculation rule is 50 KB per answer per question. For example, a survey with 3 questions will consume approximately 150 KB of virtual storage for each complete response submitted. This virtual storage usage counts toward your plan's storage quota. During the beta phase, specific usage limits (such as the number of responses per survey) may not yet be enforced. Twilee reserves the right to introduce, adjust, or enforce limits on Survey QR codes—as well as to adjust the virtual storage calculation—at any time based on actual resource consumption, infrastructure costs, or usage patterns. Continued use of the Survey feature constitutes acceptance of any such changes.
Storage: Each plan includes a maximum storage quota. This storage covers all files you upload, including images, documents, and audio files. To increase your storage capacity, you can either upgrade to a higher plan or purchase an add-on pack (available with the Business plan).
Billing Period: All paid plans are billed on a monthly basis (unless otherwise specified). Charges are processed at the beginning of each billing cycle, based on the selected subscription plan. If you upgrade or downgrade during a billing cycle, the change will take effect immediately, and the fee will be prorated.
Payment Method: Payments are processed securely via our third-party payment provider, Stripe. You must provide valid billing information and authorize us to charge your selected payment method automatically for subscription fees and applicable taxes.
Free Plan: The Free plan is available at no cost but is subject to usage limits as indicated on the Pricing page. The Free plan is limited to one account per individual or organization. Creating or using multiple Free accounts to bypass plan limits is strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate Free plan access in cases of abuse or misuse.
Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting us. There is no cancellation fee, and your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle. Charges for the current cycle will not be refunded.
Failed Transactions: If a payment attempt fails (e.g., insufficient funds, expired card), we may retry the charge. If the issue persists, we may suspend or restrict access to your account until the outstanding balance is settled. Stripe may also notify you directly in such cases.
Taxes: All displayed prices include applicable taxes. The exact tax amount will be calculated at checkout based on your location. For the United States and Canada, prices are shown excluding taxes, which will be added at checkout.
Updates to Pricing: We may adjust our subscription pricing from time to time with reasonable prior notice. If you do not agree to the new pricing terms, you may cancel your subscription before the updated rates take effect.
Enterprise Plans: Enterprise subscriptions are subject to custom quotes and individual contractual agreements. Terms regarding billing, cancellation, and payment will be defined in the specific agreement with the customer.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, software, and materials made available through the Service (including logos, text, graphics, and code) are the property of Twilee or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
10. Termination and Suspension
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice, if:
- You violate these Terms or any applicable law.
- You engage in fraudulent, abusive, or harmful activity that could impact Twilee, our infrastructure, or other users.
- Required by legal or regulatory obligations.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Any fees already paid are non-refundable. You remain responsible for any outstanding charges.
You may terminate your account at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting us.
11. Force Majeure
We shall not be held liable or responsible for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, acts of government, war, terrorism, labor disputes, internet or telecommunications failures, or failures of third-party hosting providers. In such cases, our obligations will be suspended for the duration of the event, without giving rise to any right of compensation.
12. Disclaimer of Liability
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without any warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We will not be responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use or inability to use the Service.
13. Fair Use Policy
To ensure the stability and quality of our Service for all customers, usage is subject to a fair use policy.
Scan Limits
While some plans advertise "Unlimited scans," this shall be interpreted within reasonable usage limits.
- Starter Plan: up to 50,000 scans per month across all QR codes
- Premium Plan: up to 250,000 scans per month across all QR codes
- Business Plan: up to 1,000,000 scans per month across all QR codes
Storage Usage
Each subscription plan includes a specified storage quota as detailed on our Plan Comparison page. Storage must be used in accordance with the intended purpose of the Service.
Acceptable use of storage includes uploading images, documents, and audio files that are directly related to your QR codes and hosted pages (e.g., product images, business logos, PDF documents, audio guides, event materials).
Prohibited storage practices include, but are not limited to:
- Using the Service as a general-purpose file hosting, backup, or archival solution
- Storing large volumes of music, videos, or multimedia content unrelated to the intended purpose of the Service
- Uploading files that are not associated with any QR code or hosted page
- Sharing storage access or files with third parties as a file distribution service
- Any use that consumes an unreasonable amount of storage relative to the legitimate purposes of the Service
We reserve the right to monitor storage usage patterns and take action—including requesting content removal, restricting uploads, or suspending accounts—if we determine that storage is being used in ways that are inconsistent with the intended purpose of the Service, negatively impact infrastructure performance, or constitute abuse.
General
We reserve the right to temporarily suspend, throttle, or terminate accounts whose usage significantly exceeds fair use thresholds or otherwise impacts the performance of the Service.
This Fair Use Policy ensures equitable access and protects all users from service degradation.
14. Service Level Agreement (SLA)
We are committed to providing a reliable and high-availability Service. Our hosting provider guarantees a 99.9% monthly uptime for the infrastructure on which the Service operates. See status.twilee.com for real-time system status.
- Uptime Commitment The Service is intended to be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with a monthly uptime percentage of at least 99.9%, excluding scheduled maintenance, emergency maintenance, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control (e.g., force majeure events, internet provider failures, denial-of-service attacks).
- Scheduled Maintenance We may occasionally need to perform planned maintenance. Whenever possible, we will provide advance notice. Such maintenance windows are excluded from the uptime calculation.
- Remedies If uptime falls below the guaranteed 99.9% in a given calendar month, you may be eligible to request service credits, subject to our review. Credits will be the sole and exclusive remedy for downtime.
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of France without regard to its conflict of laws principles. By using the Service, you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Paris, France.
