Our story
Why we built Twilee
Twilee started from a small frustration with a big cost: a printed QR code that pointed to the wrong page. Thousands of flyers, one dead link, and no way to fix it short of reprinting everything. That is the flaw in a static QR code, and it is entirely avoidable.
So we built the platform around dynamic codes from day one. Every QR code you create on Twilee routes through a short link you control, which means the destination stays editable for as long as the code exists, and every scan can be counted without putting a tracker on your own site. Around that we added the things people asked for next: hosted pages for content that has nowhere else to live, tags and bulk tools for people managing hundreds of codes, and an API for teams who would rather automate it.
Twilee has been running since 2025 and is deliberately a small operation: no ads anywhere in the product, no reselling of scan data, and pricing that stays legible instead of hiding the interesting features behind a sales call.
How we build
Principles we do not trade away
- Privacy is a default, not a plan tier
- Scan analytics are aggregated for your own reporting. We do not sell scan data, and there are no third-party advertising trackers in the product.
- Fast where it matters
- Pages are server-rendered and scan redirects run on infrastructure separate from the dashboard, so a printed code keeps resolving even while the app is being updated.
- No lock-in
- Export your QR codes and their data whenever you want, in bulk. An API and an MCP server are available if you would rather drive Twilee from your own tools.

How does Twilee make money? ▼
Subscriptions, and nothing else. There are no ads in the product or on hosted pages, and we do not sell or broker scan data. If a feature is behind a paid plan, the pricing page says so.
What happens to my QR codes if I stop paying? ▼
Codes beyond the limits of your new plan are paused rather than deleted, so nothing is lost if you come back. You can also export your QR codes and their data in bulk at any time.
