Last updated Apr 02, 2026

Beta Notice: The MCP integration is currently in beta testing. Features and availability may change.

What is MCP?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open protocol that allows AI assistants to interact with external tools and services. Twilee's MCP server enables AI assistants to manage QR codes, access analytics, and perform administrative tasks on your behalf.

Requirements

  • An active Twilee account with MCP access enabled in your plan (minimum Starter plan).
  • An MCP-compatible AI client (such as Mistral, Claude, or ChatGPT).

Connection

In your AI assistant's MCP configuration, add the following URL as the MCP server:

https://twilee.com/_mcp

Authentication is handled via OAuth 2.0. You will be redirected to Twilee to authorize the connection.

Capabilities

Through the MCP integration, AI assistants can:

  • Create & Manage QR Codes - Create, update, duplicate, and delete QR codes
  • Upload Files - Upload images, audio files, and PDFs for use in QR codes
  • Access Analytics - View scan statistics, timelines, and geographic data
  • Export Data - Export QR code data and scan history
  • Manage Settings - Configure reporting preferences and view account information

Supported QR Code Types

The MCP supports all Twilee QR code types:

  • URL, Text, Email, Call, SMS, vCard (Contact)
  • Event (Calendar), Links, Audio, File (PDF), Business, Lost & Found
